What is a condenser coil?
The condenser coil is the heat-exchange component in your outdoor AC unit that releases warm refrigerant and expels absorbed heat from indoor air to the outside.
Located in the outdoor condensing unit, the condenser coil works with your compressor and fan to complete the cooling cycle. Refrigerant flows through the coil's aluminum fins and copper tubing, releasing the heat it picked up from inside your home. A fan pushes outside air across the coil, allowing that heat to dissipate into the environment so cooled refrigerant can cycle back indoors.
